GameStop Launches Publishing Partitioning; Frozenbyte, Insomniac, Tequila Works and Ready at Dawn Already on Board

The leading retailer GameStop but announced in a press release that it's nigh to open a publishing segmentation, GameTrust. The main goal is to permit contained developers to hands publish their games without having to surrender creative command, unlike traditional publisher-developer relationships.

The printing release too announced the first four developers who have joined GameTrust: Insomniac Games (Ratchet & Clank, Resistance, Sunset Overdrive), Frozenbyte (Trine, Shadwen), Tequila Works (Deadlight, Rime) and Fix at Dawn (The Order: 1886).

Mark Stanley, vice president of internal development at Gamestop, said:
